Siemens has launched a new AI-powered, on-premises analytics solution aimed at improving the reliability of industrial drive systems.
The Drivetrain Analyzer Onsite processes data locally, using AI to detect anomalies in drivetrain performance and flag potential faults early. By keeping data on-site, the system addresses growing concerns around cybersecurity, latency, and data sovereignty — key considerations for operations in remote or high-risk environments.
Designed for applications such as pumps, conveyors, and compressors, the solution enables continuous monitoring through high-resolution vibration and process data. This supports a shift from reactive to predictive maintenance by identifying wear patterns before they result in unplanned downtime.
Importantly, the offering complements Siemens’ cloud-based tools, giving operators the flexibility to deploy analytics either on the edge or in the cloud, depending on operational requirements.
