Razor Labs Launches DataMind AI™ 5.0 for AI-Powered Predictive Maintenance in Mining

Razor Labs has launched DataMind AI™ 5.0, an updated version of its AI-based predictive maintenance platform for mining operations. The latest release extends the platform’s capabilities beyond detecting developing equipment faults to supporting the wider maintenance decision-making process.

Mining operations are increasingly adopting digital technologies as equipment fleets become larger and more complex. While artificial intelligence has improved the ability to identify early signs of equipment failure, maintenance teams still need to investigate issues, determine the required response, plan interventions, complete repairs and confirm that equipment has safely returned to service.

DataMind AI™ 5.0 addresses this gap by linking AI-generated equipment health insights with maintenance workflows. Based on Razor Labs’ AI Sensor Fusion™ technology, the platform integrates fault detection, investigation, maintenance coordination and verification activities within a single environment.

The updated platform is designed to support maintenance teams across both mobile mining fleets and fixed assets, providing information to assist engineers and reliability teams throughout the fault lifecycle, from initial identification through to resolution.

“Predictive maintenance does not end when AI detects a fault; that is where the work begins,” said Raz Roditti, CEO of Razor Labs. “Mining companies require more than early fault detection. They need tools that support investigation, decision-making and the transition from insight to action. DataMind AI™ 5.0 is designed to strengthen this process and help maintenance teams improve how they respond to equipment issues.”

The new release combines AI-powered diagnostics, engineering analysis, maintenance collaboration and fault lifecycle management in one platform. By reducing the separation between identifying potential failures and resolving them, the system aims to improve maintenance processes, visibility and decision-making.

“Maintenance teams do not need more alerts; they need better context and more effective workflows,” said Assaf Eden, VP Product at Razor Labs. “Version 5.0 was developed around the practical requirements of maintenance teams, helping them investigate equipment issues, collaborate and move from detection to resolution more efficiently.”

DataMind AI™ 5.0 forms part of Razor Labs’ ongoing development of AI-based predictive maintenance solutions for the mining sector, with a focus on improving equipment reliability and supporting more informed maintenance decisions.
