Wabtec Digital Mine and Razor Labs have announced a new partnership through which Wabtec will offer Razor Labs’ DataMind AI™ predictive maintenance solution to its mining customers.
Many mine operators have long managed fleet safety, fleet operations and equipment health through separate systems, often drawing on different sources of data. This partnership is a step towards bringing the safety and maintenance systems together. Wabtec technology is already in use on mining fleets around the world, and DataMind AI™, which is already deployed on haul fleets at operating mines, helps maintenance teams identify developing component failures early, giving them time to plan repairs and reduce unplanned downtime.
Together, the two companies look forward to helping operators run fleets that are safer and more available, with the support of a single partner.
“Innovation is central to how we support our mining customers, and the right partners help us deliver more for them. Razor Labs’ DataMind AI™ predictive maintenance capability complements our offering well, and we see this as the beginning of a collaboration we look forward to growing across a number of initiatives,” said Mitch Tanzer, Global Commercial Director of Wabtec Digital Mine.
“Mining fleets generate a great deal of information, and it can be difficult for maintenance teams to know where to focus. DataMind AI™ helps with exactly that, bringing together data from across fleet systems to identify which component is developing a fault and what action to take. Wabtec is a respected leader in mining technology, with the trust of many of the world’s largest operators. Together we can bring it to more mining fleets around the world,” said Tomer Srulevich, Chief Business Officer, Razor Labs.
